2023 Applications to UBC and UVic NP program

Hi all,

I've applied to both programs to start in September 2023, and wanting to commiserate with anyone else who is anxiously waiting to hear. Looking back at previous years I'm feeling a bit discouraged since the admissions average seemed to be higher than I had been told by colleagues. Anyhow, let me know if you also applied and when you hear back from schools! Wishing you all the best of luck.

I'm hoping to hear by march 10 so I can register for the Athabasca stats course to start April 1 if needed. I have no idea how long it will take. Might be wishful thinking LOL

Uvic, you can at least check; UNBC doesn't have a way to check status updates.... so kind of in the dark there.

OK guys, I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, and I don't know if it means anything... but for whose who applied for UNBC. Go to your UNBC account, right upper corner, check notification, then click on Profile

Oh OK! Are they sending out acceptance offers now? 
I got an acceptance offer from university of Alberta, but I am trying to sort out the process of getting a BC licence after graduating from Alberta (if that is the route I go).

No, UNBC isn't sending out acceptance offers now, at least from what I know

This waiting is getting a bit torturous !

For Uvic Applicants I caved and emailed.  Their response was that they are still reviewing applicants and they would would be sending emails mid to late March.

When you click on the Notification section for UNBC what would be listed here? Do you know where they would be send the offers (via UNBC email or personal email?)

You don't see a new notification? They would be sending offer to UNBC email, but you can set up mail forwarding to get it send to your personal email.

Thanks for letting us know about UVic JennPa! I also have been checking daily and today checked 3 times ??‍♀️Good to know I can cool it a bit!
