did you guys write a separate paper on leadership experience? i cant quite recall if that was required for ELMSN or ABSN...

do you guys think that it's ok to send in unofficial transcripts (printed out from online)?

No, I don't believe that's necessary -- just the one paper on why you are pursuing a graduate degree at nursing, and why you are choosing SMC (or something like that). :)

I would include unofficial transcripts, but be sure to have the official ones sent to SMC as soon as they are available.

Kensington - I'm applying to the FNP specialty, though it was a hard decision as both tracks sound very interesting.

Maxiumus - I'm actually including my grades from my fall classes by sending in letters which I had the teachers send me which included my grades. But yes, I think it is fine to send a printout of your unofficial transcript.

But they do want your experience, leadership, volunteer experience on a separate sheet. That's what I need to do today - before I send it in

I just mailed my application package today, actually I went there in person and turned it. I am curious too when do they usually start letting people know the results.

Also I have a question, I have two prereqs (non-science) in progress this spring semester, and on the prereqs worksheet I put "in progress". But the application didnt have a question when are you expecting to complete those prereqs, did it? Or I missed it?

My application arrived yesterday ( i tracked it via usps). Now the wait!

You are right, there was no place to put expected completion time of pre req's in progress.......i also cant find on the website when they have to be done by. Mine will be done in March, as it has to be for the ABSN program.
