^^^^ This. Happens all the time. Various reasons for this include: budgeting or position duties have changed, the person in charge of the hiring is not available for a time period or is out on a leave, etc.. Could it also mean somebody else might be first for the job...sure. But don't get your hopes down. It's not over til it's over!!!
I once applied for a job (non-healthcare) in February and didn't get the first call until July! My application had an on-hold status a few weeks after submitting it and stood like that until I got hired in November!! HR lady explained they had other positions that were more time-sensitive to fill so she had to get those done before coming back to me. The wait is brutal, I know. Hang in there!!

What does this mean? The manager told me she would follow up when they make a decision. My application says this online. I'm assuming I'm not in the running anymore? Or maybe they are prioritizing someone else? Idk does anyone know what this means?
