application by endorsement from california to texas

hi ! i am a nurse here in the Philippines. I took and passed the California NCLEX. now, problem is that i cannot get a permanent california license because i do not have an SSN. i am still here inthe philippines though my petition has been processed by an agency. i plan to apply an endorsement to Texas BON to get a permanent license. I'd like to know how to do it. and if the exam to get a permanent license is easy. please help me.....

hi, i am also an NLCEX passer but i do not hold a license in California since I do not have a SSN. I am planning to get a license in Texas. Have you started processing your endorsement?

You are not "endorsing" a license, since you have no CA license to endorse. You need to apply for licensure (in TX) by examination, and ask CA to forward your NCLEX results to TX. They will do that for a small fee.

As mentioned you can not endorse as you have no license to endorse. You need to meet BON requirements for foreign trained nurse and pay any fees. Also request CA forward your NCLEX results to new BON

TX board will also not issue license without the US SSN. I have a friend who directly applied for licensure by exam, when she passed the test,she didn't get the license because she doesn't have ssn. Like CA, they also require it.

You have no license to endorse therefore generally you complete requirements for application by license and arrange for a small fee for CA to forward your NCLEX results. All instructions will be on the TX BON website for International trained

Thank you so much for your help regarding the application to Texas, , Do we still need a complete CES report? and IELTS? Or i just have to fill up the application form for examination, fbi fingerprint card? Sorry. Im just getting confused on what to do. Again, thank you so much.:confused:

You still need to meet requirements and if this includes CES and fingerprints then it has to be done. If in doubt contact the BON
