2017 application cycle

Hello all,

i just thought i would would start a thread for those awaiting acceptance from programs for fall 2017. I have already been accepted to Simmons (MSN) . I also applied to ECU (DNP), UNC (MSN) , and Duke (MSN). I applied for Family Nurse Practitioner at each.

Where did you apply? what is your top choice?

I applied to UNC's MSN FNP program and haven't heard back either. I have been anxiously waiting for a response for the past two days after reading that some others had been notified of their admittance. I called the SON yesterday, and the woman who answered said I should expect to hear back by the end of the month..Too bad everyone can't just receive email notification on the same day.

Received my letter of acceptance to Georgetown's CNM/whnp program today! Starting September!

So far, the nurses that have been accepted to UNC Chapel Hill were applying to the BSN to MSN program or BSN to DNP program. Has anybody been accepted to the RN to MSN program at all? I applied for the RN to MSN FNP program and have not heard anything yet.

Has anyone that was accepted via email received anything in the mail?

Well Monday is the 1st of May... I doubt they send anything over the weekend. I wonder if decisuons will be pushed back to May.

Has anyone heard anything? Are we to expect letters or emails at this point.

I applied to the PNP program at Chapel Hill. I have not received any form of notification yet.

Not where we turned in the application but it changed on blazernet a week or so ago
