2017 application cycle

Published

Hello all,

i just thought i would would start a thread for those awaiting acceptance from programs for fall 2017. I have already been accepted to Simmons (MSN) . I also applied to ECU (DNP), UNC (MSN) , and Duke (MSN). I applied for Family Nurse Practitioner at each.

Where did you apply? what is your top choice?

I was accepted into western carolina! I have not heard from UNC yet! But I'm very excited!!!

Congrats HappyMEL! That is wonderful news!

For those waiting on UNC MSN FNP my friend called on Thursday and they stated they would be sending out notifications next week and we should know by Friday April 21st

I am joining this thread late, waiting to hear from UNC for Healthcare Systems (CNL). I'm nervous because my friend in the DNP program said she heard in late March of her acceptance, but late April for rejections (over several application cycles). However, she also said the admissions director is covering two jobs right now so it may be slow. I ONLY applied to UNC, back ups are online programs.

I'm waiting on a reply from Georgetown for their CNM/whnp program September cohort... I was hoping to know last week but I think their easter break got in my way í ½í¸•... maybe Tuesday...

Hey guys I received my admission decision UNC-CH! I'm in for FNP! any one else?

Were you originally on the wait list at UNCC? I was waitlisted number 5 there!

No i didnt' apply there! This is for UNC-chapel Hill :)

What website did you check? I have only gone on to where we applied and it says 'check the status of your application here.' It looks the same as when I submitted the application.

I heard yes for UNC CH MSN (CNL) program for Fall! They sent an email this morning. I love UNC, did my BSN there as well. Congrats on FNP!!

I received an email that had a link to where we originally applied and then it says "check status of your application here" and that was where my letter was. hmmm

I got in too now to decide if I go to UNC MSN-FNP or ECU DNP-FNP
