  1. Email this morning stating a decision has been made. Denied. I guess they don't want someone with years of experience, excellent references and a 3.9. Their loss.
  2. Ridiculous. If any other business was run this way, they would fizzle out quickly.

  4. Just talked to the SON and they said by the end of the month.
  5. Really? I know it is only Tuesday, but this wait is stressful.
  6. The wait is killing me too! My last name starts with M and I applied December 14th. I wonder if they are going by alpha order, application date, or some other pattern...
  7. What website did you check? I have only gone on to where we applied and it says 'check the status of your application here.' It looks the same as when I submitted the application.
  8. Simmons sounds like a great school, and I would totally go there, but they are super pricey!
  9. I've submitted my application to the UNC Chapel Hill ADN-MSN FNP program. Honestly, waiting until April or May for a decision is a little ridiculous. I didn't really want to apply elsewhere, but I guess with about a 50% acceptance rate, I should, even though my portfolio is pretty strong. Over the phone, the SON said, approximately 450 students apply and approximately half have complete applications and met requirements. I plan to call and ask how many spots are available for fall in this program specialty. Does anyone happen to know this information?
