I know that it's early, but I really wanted to get a jump on this. I have read the past two years' threads from start to finish and have seen the amazing support given by everyone involved. Considering how competitive it is for nursing school admission, it is extremely informative and heart-warming. I will be applying to all the schools in the Portland/Salem area to which I will qualify. This next year is going to be rough, but ever since I started on this journey I have loved every moment.
A little about me:
Again, I know this is early, but I look forward to seeing the responses from everyone!
Lets hope it's only 40 on the wait list at CCC, which would gives a more realistic shot of getting in. I didn't know that all who interviewed at PCC got on the wait list? I know a girl who got in at PCC last year who was 70th on the wait list! Pretty crazy=) I hope to all of us waiting we will here back sooner than later about a spot.
ClaireLoam, did you find a place to live? I've been looking on craigslist and the like and the area is a little spendy for me. With less than a month to go, I'm getting nervous.
By the way, have any of you found a Facebook group for our cohort? I looked and couldn't find ours but didn't want to start one if a previous one was hiding.
ktj777...Please create a facebook group! I'm pretty sure one hasn't been created yet. And it's really expensive to live near campus, you should look into a place in Beaverton, Tigard or even Hillsboro. Obviously if you get a roommate that would be a plus. If you don't want to use a car for transportation then Beaverton and NW Portland are your best bet for an easier commute.
