I know that it's early, but I really wanted to get a jump on this. I have read the past two years' threads from start to finish and have seen the amazing support given by everyone involved. Considering how competitive it is for nursing school admission, it is extremely informative and heart-warming. I will be applying to all the schools in the Portland/Salem area to which I will qualify. This next year is going to be rough, but ever since I started on this journey I have loved every moment.
A little about me:
Again, I know this is early, but I look forward to seeing the responses from everyone!
CCC APPLICANTS: READ THROUGH YOUR POINTS VERIFICATION CAREFULLY!
I just received my e-mail from Allied health, and they had MY NAME wrong. Not misspelled, they had me as an ENTIRELY different person. It was all of my grades and coursework- with someone else's name at the top. I sent them and e-mail to notify them.
I wouldn't worry. It appears as if they are in the process of sending out/correcting e-mails today. They have already fixed the problem with mine and e-mailed me back. I was surprised at how fast that was.
I responded with a few questions about semester vs. trimester credits and in their response they mentioned that they are selecting the top 100 applicants for interviews.
EEK!
CCC just emailed my point verification. I have a 57/66. I hope that's competitive.
Way more competitive than mine! All I have are the points awarded for grades: 51/66. They gave me an extra point for prior degree, but as I have never had a prior degree I emailed them back. Corrected, I think I'll have 50/66. It's a major long shot without discretionary points, but I knew that going in.

So far, I'm the only person I know interviewing at Monmouth on Monday. I know it isn't alphabetical, because I know people whose last names are both before and after mine who are interviewing Sat...
