I wanted to start a thread for all of us who are applying to various nursing schools in the area for 2010. I have applied to five different places: OHSU-Monmouth, University of Portland, Portland Community College, The University of Washington, and Boise State University. I wanted to cover myself and hopefully ensure that I would get in somewhere. I have a really good GPA and experience as an EMT-Basic so I am hoping that that will help my chances.
Just waiting it out until they send out notifications.....I just want to hear back!!!
i have been looking for a way to possibly calculate my application points for ohsu, does any one have any idea of the to secret way they look at gpa or other factors? i have been looking at other schools in the portland area because i am assuming it is something like pcc, what is completive? does anyone have a inside man to help us?

i know that ohsu weights the essay quite a bit....so, i don't think the point system is a clear cut as the ocne cc's
I applied to the FT program because the PT program only accepted 20 or so applicants. I thought my chances were better with the FT, did you apply for the PT?
