Hi all, i've been following most of the threads in this forum since retrogression started even though i was not really registered.
Anyway. today, i just checked my case status and it showed this message below. Question is, does it mean case has been approved? For those that went thru AOS, pls help with this news. I'm sooooo happy. I and my husband has been waiting since october. Infact, our application were received (PD) on October 13th, 2006.We got our EAD November, 18,2006 and the I-140 approval on Jan 5th, 2007. I was even contemplating applying for a renewal EAD this month before they raise the fees when I suddenly saw this news. WOW!
We were not called for interview or anything but all our paper work were in at the same time ..courtesy of the attorney.

Yes, it does. I've always thought texas was one of the fastest. I need to find out what's wrong with my file b'cos i have a priority date as Sept 13th and still have'nt heard anything. Even if ones country plays a role, I am from Ghana and as such I should have gotten mine by now.
Have you checked with your lawyer. We have a thread on here discussing both Texas and Nebraska service centres and timescale of approval. My file was approved in 11 days and that was with Texas in August 2006. I don't think they started taking longer until a few months after. Average seems to be 7-9 months for texas at the moment
This is really strange. I called the USCIS customer service today. I was told the TSC is processing I-485 for September 11th, 2006 and that there was nothing the could do; I just have to wait. As i already said, my priority date is September 13th and ppl with PD as late as November 2006 are getting their green cards. WHat's going on here? They said i should call back in 30 days if i dont hear anything. My lawyer doesnt wanna hear any of this. She doesnt believe that ppl with later PD have already gottn thiers.
Now here is the question. Has anyone of u who had a PD within September 2006 and filed with texas yet to recieve an approval?
So far all th approvals that i am seeing has PD later than september 2006.
