I thought it'd be a good idea to create a forum for FIU's Accelerated Option BSN program for the application cycle of 2019 (graduation 2020). This way we can get to know each other and help each other out

Application says that decision has bee “deferred” to the department for decision. Anyone else’s change?

Defer decision over here too. Excited to see some kind of update. Hopefully that means we will know decisions soon!

I honestly don't think it means anything. I know that they have had my application and my final transcript from summer since like August 3rd. I think it just took the system a while to officially change our application status is all. I still think that we should expect decisions to be early September, which is hard because it only gives us about a month to get our lives in order for school. Yikes.

Did you finish your classes recently ? I didn’t have any classes pending after the deadline so if you did then maybe that’s why

Hi everyone! I also applied back in July. I have been checking my email relentlessly as well as my actual mail, lol. Has anyone been able to get in touch with someone from the program? I have been calling but all I get is voicemails. I really hope we hear something soon?. Good luck to everyone I hope you're all doing okay!!
