Hey everyone! So I recently spoke to one of the advisors and wanted to share what I learned. So like everyone is saying, they have switched the start date from December to October. During that fall term, classes will be roughly 3 times a week. Also, decisions should be expected by early September. Also, if you haven't already, submit your undergraduate application to FIU! That needs to be submitted by July 15th as well.

I'm so happy that everyone is contributing to this thread! I greatly appreciate the sharing of information.

This summer, I am completing my last pre requisite (DEP 2000) and my final classes for my bachelor's degree, but here are my rough stats:

Pre requisite GPA- 4.00 (if I get an A in DEP 2000)

Overall GPA- 3.9

ATI TEAS- 93.3%

I also have some hospital volunteering hours and experience as a medical receptionist.

My last prerequisite (Statistics) wraps up in a couple of weeks! Application is in and there's nothing else to be done... Now, how do I stop myself from thinking about this every moment from now until September? ??

Hey everyone!

Has anyone received any kind of written communication from FIU, yet? I thought it was kind of weird that we didn't get an email stating something like "Thank you for applying. We are processing applications and should have a decision back to you by early September..." or something like that. They sent us an email on July 1st to remind us to finish up our app, so they do have the means to communicate with us. Anyone receive anything?

Good point. I received a couple of emails with reminders about the deadline, but after that no communication whatsoever. I also applied to UM and they sent me an email letting me know they received my application and then a few others after, so I’m surprised FIU hasn’t send any since it’s been 2 weeks already. I guess they are overwhelmed with the amounts of applications they received for both programs, so all we can do is wait and pray.

Hi! Does anyone have any exciting updates? LOL. I finished my last prereqs on August 3rd and had my final transcript sent in, but I haven't heard anything or gotten any notifications from FIU or NursingCAS. ?
