has anyone worked as a CARE manager for Senior Bridge?

Published

I got an email from a recruiter for care manager positions with Senior Bridge in my area. I've looked at their website & I think it's something I may be interested in. It's not home health care per se, it is more interviewing and documentation. The point is to prevent hospital re-admissions.

Just wondering if anyone can share personal experience with this kind of thing. Thanks!

Very welcome[emoji4]

Hi...I'm am interested in becoming a care manager. I actually was sent a hiring package from an agency...but upon reading some previous post. I figured out it would bE better to go through humana. Could you please let me know how to do so?

Email your resume to [email protected] and they will let you know if they are hiring care managers in your area.

Thank you, will do.

Don't judge an Agency by what is here without checking it out. I see some articles are older and you never know what the agency is doing now. I work for an Agency and really like it. Good luck!

I work for an Agency and this isn't true at all! I get paid well, I got paid for my training, I get mileage , they take out my taxes, offer an IRA, and I get annual BIG bonuses on my hire date! I have to take a minimum of 10 members, but can do a max of 35 if I want! Never had trouble getting members...I love it! My Boss has really helped me learn tricks to get my charting done on my Android...I get the same person whenever I need to call for help. Overall, been a great experience! Remember, what is good for one may not be good for another. :o)

That may be true for your company and that is wonderful! It sounds like you work for a wonderful company, but 90% of the companies don't offer what you're getting. Call around and you will see. So we are speaking for the majority of the agencies. Not everyone is able to work at your agency which is in the 5-10% range.... If that much...... That offers that....[emoji4]

And you say you get paid well.. But you didn't say what you get paid for each member per week?? I wonder if it's the same as an Independent ?

I wouldn't think so because your agency has to be making their money too and they make it off of you. They are the middleman. Independents have NO middleman. We pick how many members we want up to 35. We don't have a middleman taking a part of the money!

Hi! I recently signed on with an agency, but I didn't sign any contracts. How do I go about going directly through Humana??

Email them your resume to see if they are hiring Independent Network care managers in your area. They will let you know.

If they have already sent your name into Humana and Humana already has any of your information it may be too late. You probably need to tell the agency you changed your mind and go from there. The agency is sending your information to the same person that will receive it when you email Humana at the address I wrote above. Try emailing Humana first and I'm sure they will be able to tell if they already have any of your information from the agency. If the agency has already sent your information into Humana, you would have to go through a process of having the agency release you in writing to Humana because of the non- compete clause.
