I got an email from a recruiter for care manager positions with Senior Bridge in my area. I've looked at their website & I think it's something I may be interested in. It's not home health care per se, it is more interviewing and documentation. The point is to prevent hospital re-admissions.
Just wondering if anyone can share personal experience with this kind of thing. Thanks!
Hi JuliaLPN,
I looked it up and it doesn't look like Humana is hiring in Ga. Right now. If you go to Humanaathome.com and scroll down to read more about wanting to join the care management network. You can read all about it. You can also email [email protected] to ask any questions. Hope this helps.
If you go to humanaathometraining.com you can read all about it and it will tell you what states are hiring now. I wrote the wrong email address above. please go to humanaathometraining.com not Humanaathome.com. I looked and it doesn't look like Ga. is hiring now, but you can always make sure by emailing [email protected]
I don't work for Seniorbridge. I work for Humanaathome. It is a great and yes I am still working as an Independent contractor for Humana at Home. Lots of flexibility and freedom, but it is still work. As long as you do what you are supposed to do with seeing and caring for your members and charting correctly you will love it.
Hi jlminnc,
God bless you for sharing so much wonderful info on your job with Humana. I also recently learned of this position but had no idea who to contact for more information on it. You are a Godsend! Could you please tell me what the other 2 programs are besides the long term care and why you prefer long term? Also, what is the pay schedule for this job-weekly, bi-weekly, monthly? Thanks again.
I made the mistake of going through an agency and they are not doing such a good job. First, I don't know if this is typical, but they assign me all my members rather than getting an email and letting me choose. Then they had an "oversight" and forgot to notify me they had submitted me for a transitions member and I had been assigned, but only noticed it in my caseload after they told me about two others the next day. They also want to email/call constantly and are micromanaging me to death. If I quit the agency is there a certain amount of time before I am eligible to go hire direct? I am presuming getting a written release will be a problem?

Hi Jimmi! Do you have an email address that I could email u my city and state? Just don't want my agency be reading this. If you can look up for me, that would be great. The agency is very flexible. I can choose how many clients I want and schedule my own hours. So is it true that getting hired is thru the agency or Humana. It has been three weeks already and nobody have the answer. The email address you gave me I have tried it almost a week already, and they won't answer.
