anyone out there waiting for their NCLEX-RN results?

hello, i was just wondering if there was anyone out there that recently took the nclex-rn, and awaiting results...i'm so nervous! i sat down for my exam two days ago, and i'm anxiously waiting to find out what my results are. pass or fail?!?! waiting for the results is so nerve wrecking!!!!

19 days and still no results through mail...should I lose hope?

If you wait a few days and check your state's Board of Nursing website, you can look up your nursing license. If it says "active" it means you passed! The Boards of Nursing get the results weeks before the test-takers do. I did this and it resulted in far less anxiety.

Unfortunately for a few especially foreign nurses with no SSN they can do nothing but wait for snail mail. A few have posted in the NCLEX forum on waiting for name to go onto website (CA) and they don't see their name convinced they failed and then get a letter saying they passed

hello, is there anyone out there who took the nclex-rn last october 2007 in manila phils. who is until now awaiting for the result? i was just wondering if it is possible that it will took almost 2months to wait for the result?i'm so nervous and anxious if i passed the exam or not.almost 2 months is too long..=(:(

I took my exam last nov 28.I keep on searching the net for my name but it wasn't there.Im just waiting for the mail to come. I hope i would pass the exam..waaaaah....:confused:

If you do not have a SSN#, then you need to wait for the letter to arrive from the BRN. You will not have a license issued without that in CA.

Nursing boards get the results first as they are the ones that process the license but in CA as well as other states, if a license is not issued without the SSN#, then they have to wait for the snail mail to tell them that they passed. Average wait time to receive the results in PI is about one month. The letters are not mailed out until about 2 1/2 weeks after testing and then you need to add in the time for the mail to arrive.

If the nurse has a SSN# and is in the US, then the results can be posted in average time of ten days, some do see their results in two to three days but this is not the average. If the person was a graduate of a CA school, then it means that their file is not complete for some reason. CA BRN will permit the graduate to test before they receive the completed transcript if their name is on the roster sent by the school as expected to graduate, but the license will not be released until the transcripts are received.

If you trained in CA and have a SSN# and have waited more than two weeks to find out if you have passed; suggest that you contact the BRN and find out if anything is missing from your folder. But do not do this until two weeks have passed.

Just because your school sent in the transcript, it does not mean that it was received. Mail has been known to do funny things.

Again, average wait time is ten days; not the two to three that we hear of sometimes.

i took nclex-rn of california board in 15th jan second time. computer shut down at 75 questions.i got 9 select all apply 74th was also select all apply.can anyone here predict what gonna happen with me this time..it too agonizing to wait for the result..top of that its SECOND TIME!!

if i have passed how long it gonna take to see my name in website.I do have SSN too.

please someone help!!!!!!!!!!
