I applied for ADN at Wallace CC. Does anyone know how long after the deadline they typically send out letters? It's only been 3 weeks but I'm getting a little anxious .
We moved here from Michigan last year. I was going to school there, but before you could apply to the nursing program you had to complete A&P, micro, and all other prereqs. Once in the program you only took NUR classes. So anyhow I have completed most of the classes and I guess I get points for those. I think it's looking pretty good, but YOU NEVER KNOW! AAGH. I hate waiting.

I got my acceptance letter today also, but I am going to turn down my spot for someone next in line. Even though they have a hybrid program, it's a lot for me to drive from Huntsville to Cullman 3-4 days a week. I made 66 on TEAS and had 2 A's & 1 B going towards my points.
I got mine too!! Congrats Jen! I'm sooo excited. It looks like I will be missing classes for orientation though. I wonder why they don't have it at night.
sb07, thank, congrats to you also. I wonder the same thing, or have it on a friday at least (since most classes are Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur). I will be missing class also, A&P2 @ 8:00am.
I have a 76 on TEAS and 3 A's
I wonder how they are going to do the block selection, I really need the earlier classes, if at all possible.
I had an 86.7 on the TEAS and 3 A's. I'm not sure how many points that is. I really need the hybrid night classes, but I'm worried about selecting that block because I've heard lots of terrible things about hybrid. The letter says they are going to draw names to decide what order we will get to select our block. yuck. With my luck I will be #250 lol.

I got my acceptance letter yesterday for the LPN program. I really hope I am able to take the hybrid block. I don't know how I will do it otherwise. What have people heard about the hybrid option?
Hey Everyone, Went by the bookstore yesterday to get the handbook and they said the nursing dept had not sent it over yet to check back today or Thursday before orientation. So I called today and the bookstore staff said the nursing dept told them it would not be ready until next week and the nursing dept will address it with us in orientation tomorrow; so no need to get there extra early to go to the bookstore to buy it - they won't have it. See you all tomorrow.
