I applied for ADN at Wallace CC. Does anyone know how long after the deadline they typically send out letters? It's only been 3 weeks but I'm getting a little anxious .
We moved here from Michigan last year. I was going to school there, but before you could apply to the nursing program you had to complete A&P, micro, and all other prereqs. Once in the program you only took NUR classes. So anyhow I have completed most of the classes and I guess I get points for those. I think it's looking pretty good, but YOU NEVER KNOW! AAGH. I hate waiting.

jnnfrthmpsn, who do you have for micro? I am in the process of taking A&P 2 and Math 100, I am also using my chemistry grade from highschool which some how I got an A in.
I have micro at Jeff state and MY TEACHer is awesome. I attended Wallace and graduated with an associates in dental assisting but it just wasn't for me so I started at Jeff State for nursing but after doing the rest of my prereq. there I refuse to even waste my time turning in a nursing app. to them. The only class that I could actually ask for help and receive a pleasant response was from my micro teacher. I took biology at wallace but not A&P and I took math 116 not 100. so I am not much help. Good luck with your classes.
Okay so if sources are true then Wallace State nursing letters go out tomorrow. I don't think I made it in because of my C but now I am kinda of anxious. I would just like to know.
I have also heard from another source, that letters go out tomorrow. I have been anxious since May, I really need to get in because if I don't I am at a standstill; by the end of summer I will have all my prerequisites, so that would mean take a semester off or take classes toward my BS (that I am not sure I want to get). Anyway good luck. Let me know when you get yours and I'll do the same.
A student said that they believe that letters were mailed out this afternoon so it looks like its going to be Thursday before they get here. That is fine with me as long as I don't have to set in anticipation for another week.
Ok guys, I'm at work everyday 8-5, therefore no direct access to my mailbox. If you all would please post on here if you've received a letter or not, that way I can anticipate news on the ride home! :)
my friend got her acceptance packet today so I called to see how they were sending them out and the secretary said it was by ranking. But she said not all had gone out. I would take till the end of the week for all letters to go out. And she said that they are just sending acceptance letters right now so if you didn't get in it is going to take longer to find out and they will not tell you over the phone.
I got mine too!! Congrats Jen! I'm sooo excited. It looks like I will be missing classes for orientation though. I wonder why they don't have it at night.
