Anyone waiting to hear from USA

I applied for Spring admission to the University of South Alabama MSN and have not heard anything yet. The deadline was Sept 1 but I haven't heard anything and neither has two other nurses that have applied. Anyone know when they usually notify applicants? Anyone have comments on their MSN program..I am undecided as far as specialty..:confused:.I'm leaning towards education or Adult Acute Care NP...All comments appreciated

I don't recall. I'd have to dig up my original paperwork. But the class was advanced nursing assessment. The letter said something like having to keep up with accredidation requirements.

I am in my second semester at USA for FNP...I'm taking Pharm in the spring...any helpful advice? I hear it's a toughie. I signed up for the same instructor as I have for patho. I really like her for that class so far...

Advanced Pharm was pretty intense. Concentrate on the classes of medications. Then look at the individual meds within the class and determine if any are particularly unique. If that is the case, make sure you know how they are unique and what implications that would have for prescribing.

Good luck! In my opinion, patho was more difficult than advanced pharm.

Does anyone know if USA will be getting the Graduate Nurse traineeship from the Federal government to help graduate level nurse? Do they provide much financial for graduate level nurses?? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.:nurse:

I bought the book for patho for Spring already..did you all start with Chapter 1? I hate all this cellular stuff already!!!!

I'm not at USA, but doing patho this term. We did indeed start with the cellular stuff. It's boring, but actually it's come up a lot during the term in other subjects, so it's useful to know.
