I am now playing the waiting game. Applied to only 1 school for Spring of 2012, finished my pre-req's with a 3.7 GPA and passed the NLN in the 94 percentile. Now Im waiting to hear whether or not I got in. Advisor said decision would be made middle of this month with letters going out end of this month. These weeks seem to be dragging. I feel confident I got in with my scores but who knows how everyone else did. So there is always that doubt.
Just looking for some company for those playing the waiting game too.
I have or will be applying to 8 ASN programs (COC, LAPC, LAVC(4/10), PCC, GCC, LACC, LACCNAH, MPC) in the Los Angeles area and should be receiving the first acceptance/rejection letters in 6 weeks or so. I have a feeling this is going to be the longest 6 weeks ever!! I have a 3.7 GPA and received 82.7 on my Teas. I am so excited to get accepted and will be crushed if I don't get an acceptance letter. I have already started collecting my nursing school supplies.... shhhhh... I don't know if that is bad luck or not but I can't help it.
I received an invitation letter to take the PAX at Santa Monica. I'm taking it next week, and I'm so so nervous! This is the only school I applied to. Did anyone take the test, or is taking the test next week with me?

I'm so nervous about mine :/ I applied to Samuell Merritt College in the Bay Area. I have good letters of reccomendation and my grades are pretty good, maybe a 3.6-ish overall and so far a 3.4-ish science GPA and average TEAS score. Got good volunteering experience also. Man, I feel like I won't get in mainly because one of my science classes is still in progress and another pre-req can't be completed until Summer session! Hopefully that doesn't hurt too much....
