Anyone only have to wait only ONE semester to get in to nursing school???

Published

Hello everyone! I just really want to get in to a decent nursing program and I just like all of you am becoming extremely impatient... Can anyone tell me if they got in within a semester of applying?? Or maybe even a year?? I really REALLY don't want to wait a year and a half or two years to get in... I would pick up and move if I knew there was a school I could get into within 6 months to a year. ANY INFO is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! THANK YOU!!!!:wink2::wink2::wink2:

I applied in March and I got my letter in July. I start in March, so I guess its not to bad it gives me a little to time to prepare for different things. like my physical, uniforms, shoes etc.

I'm going to PCC, working on pre reqs. Wow, if the list is that short now I think I might panic. If that timeline holds true for me, I'm going to have to get all my supports done by the end of next summer! What are you going to do?

yeah i didn't think i'd get in so soon && was so surprised when i got the call.!!!

This semester i've been finishing up some co reqs ... nutrition and micro..

i still have to do early childhood developement && i'll probably knock that out in the summer. How many do you have left.?

Almost all of them. Still working on prereqs and got WRT 101 done last week. I was planning on 1 prereq with 1 support per semester. Then I would have them mostly done by this time next year. The A&Ps is next semester/summer. I'm going to have to start talking to people and see what the outlook is for next year.

I looked at the class schedules. It looks like there is a lot of afternoon classes available so I would be able to work 3/4 time I think, when I start.

(I would be PMing you, but I can't find the button)
