Anyone Trying To Get Into Atlantic, Sheridan, or Mcfatter 2012-2013?

In broward county? Or am I the only one? I see the last thread on either one of these schools was from 2011. I'm trying to get into mcfatter for Novembers start date. Orientation was supposed to be Monday but was cancelled due to the storm. So now it's on September 10th. I'm afraid a lot of people may be applying. And that I may not get on. :( was thinking about emailing the counselor and asking her how many they admit each time.

Yeah I think im going to try sheridan too as my last resort :/ april is wayyyyy too far. Hopefully we can get into one of them!

Advance placement get a regular spot, they just start later. I called them today just to see if they gave me advance placement and they told me i am missing some things. :( I wonder when they were going to call and let me know. Titers come back quick call them by the end of the week to see what they say.

Also i would call or email to find out what qualifies as advance placement, as you may be waiting for no reason. I know if you have the core class completed, or certain health career related courses you qualify for advance placement.

Did they tell you what you were missing? I wouldnt mind starting later! Lol BUT I would feel like the new kid coming in. Did you apply to all 3 schools or just mcfatter? No response yet huh? Yeah he said in a week the tigers should be in. I'm gonna call next Tuesday or Monday.

I would like to know as well. The counselor in orientation didn't seem to know. And it seems like we go through her for everything. So maybe I'll call the medical department. My transcripts will be here Friday.

I have to update my CEU's I took the core class a lil over a year so i have to update them, and my transcript came in missing a page :(

Only Mcfatter. If i dont get in its ok i kinda want to do the evening class it will be easier to work, and wont feel like i am back in high school. lol

I had a friend go to Atlantic. It was Monday through Thursday. I wonder if mcfatter is the same schedule.

Yeah I think I would like nights too.

Evening is m-Th 2-10 i believe, day time is 8-2:30 m-f

Hey I went to atlantic tech yesterday it ws a hugee problem because they wanted me to.make copies of all of the papers in the packet we signed they didnt want to give me a new app and stuff so make sure u make copies of it. And yes atlantic doesnt.go friday because theyre achedule is from 7-3 or 330 so they stay a little longer than mcfatter. Same with sheridan too. Mcfatter called mr told me I was missing 1 paper but I was on the waitibg list and I came tuesday early morning so the list must be really.long.by now

What paper were you missing? I guess they don't tell you how far down on the waiting list you are huh? Lol Wow. Why won't they give you another packet? That's so dumb. Smh. Are you trying to get advanced placement too?

She eventually gave me the packet aftet I kicked and screamed.about it lol I was missing my lab results for the titer but ive got everything in now. I went to sheridan today the counselor is a ***** she said it doesnt matter if we went to orientation we still have to go to theirs in order to turn in our paper work. Theres is every Monday exvept the 17 yheyre closed at 8 am we dont need an appointment u just show up. Seems a little unorganized but if u plan on applying there too make sure u go to the orientation and bring all ur papers so u can.turn.them in right after
