Please say a little prayer for me! :) I feel like I will never be able to study enough for the exam and have been sitting here thinking about rescheduling. BUT, I just want to get it over with. Blech!:icon_roll

I find out tomorrow--and no, I didnt take Kaplan. Kinda wishing I took Kaplan, Hurst, and bought every NCLEX book know to man right now--also wish I had scheduled it for the end of March, studied 5 hrs a day, heck, skipped nursing school altogether!!!!!!!!

I am freaking out! :) HOw about you?

I'm taking Kaplan right now, but I'm only scoring in the low 60s on their practice tests. I'm getting so discouraged! Am I ready to take this thing in two days? I have no idea! I don't think I have ever been so scared of something in my entire life! IT SUCKS! At least yours is over, right?

I felt the same way right before and was very tempted to reschedule, but everyone including my ATI instructor insisted I was ready to go. If you are going to freak out and not test well because you dont FEEL ready, then by all means reset your test date. But I have been told that people who push the test back later and later often have problems. A Kaplan presenter told us the sooner we take the exam after grad the better.

Yes, I am glad the actual test is over, but the stress isnt really over until you see "pass" on the screen.

Hey all.....I took the NCLEX on thursday (the 24th) totally felt like I failed......I got 75 questions and I left feeling like an idiot.......I found out yesterday I passed!!!! I think everyone feels like they fail.......I didn't do Kaplan, but I used Lippincott and Saunders and we had to take the ATI tests in school. My ATI predictor said that I had a 99% chance of passing, so believe in it allthingsbright!!!!!! Good Luck!

Well, I took ATI in nursing school and the comprehensive predictor gave me a 91% chance of passing. I signed up for virtual ATI and went through all of the testing except for the leadership and last comprehensive predictor. The system wasn't right for me, just got me discouraged because I was receving in the 50s on some of those tests. I felt like an idiot. I signed up for Kaplan and the diagnostic said I was just borderline, even with all of those ATI tests! I really needed strategy because I'm horrible at standardized tests. Kaplan gave me that and I scored really high on their readiness test. I felt it gave me more direction on what I needed to study. Hopefully it will all work out. I have been studying for 2 straight months for this. Between ATI and Kaplan I have done thousands of questions (not scoring that high though). Hopefully I will be rewarded for my insane effort! After tomorrow, its all in God's hands.

Yes, just stay calm and be proud of yourself for preparing so thoroughly. Use what you have learned!!!! Let us know how things go! :)

Any advice on what I should do for the next 48hrs? I'm wondering if I should study meds hardcore. Probably one of my worst subjects.

The day before nclex dont do anything that has to do with nursing. Try to relax. Don't focus on the meds richsgal cuz chances are the things you remember wont even have anything to do with the questions you get. The questions I remember on meds were specific side effects or patient teaching related to the drugs.........
