  1. The day before nclex dont do anything that has to do with nursing. Try to relax. Don't focus on the meds richsgal cuz chances are the things you remember wont even have anything to do with the questions you get. The questions I remember on meds were specific side effects or patient teaching related to the drugs.........
  2. Make sure to read the questions thoroughly and know what they are asking for. Also, the obvious answers aren't usually there. I know I had a question about giving blood and I went through in my head everything that I had to do. When I looked at the different answers available none of the things I thought of were there, but if you knew what to do you could eliminate many of the answers. NCLEX really looks at your critical thinking skills. I had a bunch of prioritizing, delegation, and select all that apply questions as well as pharm questions but no drug calculations. I also remember several that had to do with infection control and a couple endocrine questions about different disorders. Just know that when you leave you will feel like you failed......we all did. I know this will be easier said than done, but try to keep yourself busy for the 48 hrs after the test is over.....that was the hardest for me and try not to think about all the questions you got wrong because that's what I did and it was killing me. Good luck!!!
  3. LOL I did the same thing......I checked all the time. I took my test at 8am on Thursday the 24th and it did not post until exactly 8am yesterday (the 26th). I checked at 758 and it wasnt there, but at exactly 8am my results were available!!!!
  4. Hello- I can totally relate to you. I had 75 questions ( I took the test on January 24th). I know of at least 6-7 questions that I got wrong. I had about 6-7 prioritizing questions, 6-7 SATA questions, 0 med calculations, and so on. I left there feeling like I failed miserably and did the same thing you are doing. I couldn't sleep at night and I kept thinking about the questions over and over and over again (I actually remembered tons of my questions). Everyone that I talked to about it said, "Oh I am sure you passed," or "You are worrying about nothing," but nothing helped. I was one of the first people in my graduating class to take the test also, so none of my peers could relate either......It was awful and I was sure that I was going to have to be an extern for the next 45 days........By the grace of God I found out yesterday that I passed. I know that nothing I say will comfort you, but think positive and remember there are 15 questions that are built in that dont even count!!!
  5. Hey all.....I took the NCLEX on thursday (the 24th) totally felt like I failed......I got 75 questions and I left feeling like an idiot.......I found out yesterday I passed!!!! I think everyone feels like they fail.......I didn't do Kaplan, but I used Lippincott and Saunders and we had to take the ATI tests in school. My ATI predictor said that I had a 99% chance of passing, so believe in it allthingsbright!!!!!! Good Luck!
  6. :w00t:I found out yesterday that I passed......man that was rough waiting those 48 hours.....I can't imagine having to wait any longer than that!!! :balloons:
  7. Thanks........I just wish I had more confidence that I passed.....Does anyone know when you first start what level you are at as far as difficulty???
  8. Hi all.... I just took my boards today and I am seriously freaking out. I had 75 questions with I would say 4-5 SATA, a bunch of prioritizing questions and a handful of pharm questions but no calculations. I don't know if I got the last question right or not, but I am seriously freaking out. I studied my ass off for this exam and I am an A student....... I just feel like I have no confidence in myself right now and this waiting period is killing me!! Please help!
