Hey-
I took NCLEX on Monday and still waiting for results, but I feel awful!!! I have been crying for days, Im a mess! I took 75 questions and the whole time i was saying "please don't shut off at 75 cause that means I just failed this test cause I don't know any of these anwers!!"
I only used Kaplan, I took the class, did the online content and question review, did the trianers and 94% of the qbank... but my cumulative score on qbank was only a 52 ..... im just really nervous and was wondering if anyone else had taken Kaplan and failed with 75 questions! Thanks to anyone who responds!

hi! dont be so sad, you'll never know u might pass the test, pls dont lose hope.. theres alot of student here in the forum took the kaplan and most of them got 75 and pass...
i am taking my test on friday feb. 8 and i just only use kaplan for my review materials....
im wonderin' f is it really true that the nclex exam is similar to kaplan questions???? thank in advance for ur reply....
ahshley, for how long have u been reviewing at kaplan?? i took also the kaplan complete review course
Thank you so much for the encouragement! I started really reviewing the kaplan at about jan 10, it was when i registered to take the exam.... and i actually without even realizing was doing about 200-300 questions a day! I would do qbanks with 5, 10, 15, 25, and 30 questions to break it up... i did them by topic type to see where i was weakest... hopefully it all helped....
Im such a wreck! I actually woke up in the middle of the night- i had such a vivid dream that I had passed I was only to call people! Then i realized it was like 2am and who would be posting grades at 2am! but never the less its 5am and I just checked! still no results! Thank you for your responses, and just keep up the good work, relax the day before and youll be fine- and really, this is the worst experience of your life... it is such an anxiety attack waiting to happen! So talking to people has helped me with knowing that everyone believes they have failed, rarely do people feel good leaving the room... which was a reassuring feeling....
and if youre in a state with quick results- it really does take 48 hours apparently to receive your scores :)

Ashley,
I bet that you'll find out that you passed this morning! I felt exactly the same way you did after I took Nclex. I took the Kaplan course with a bunch of friends from school. We all had 75 questions, we all felt like we failed, and we all PASSED! One of the nurses I work with told me that if you feel that the Nclex was the hardest test you ever took then you probably passed because the better you do, the harder the questions get......

You took the NCLEX on Monday and have been crying for days? Girl, you need to dry your tears, calm down, find something to do. The very worst that can happen is that you'll have to retake NCLEX. I bet you'll pass though. If I had a dime for every post that said it went off at 75 and I'm afraid I failed, and they did indeed pass, I would be a very rich woman.

hey ashley,
i took kaplan and failed at 75. I did 100% of the kaplan. (Qbank,Q-trainer, and the course with two different teachers). I really dont know what happened. I know exactly what you are feeling because i went through the same feelings as everyone else who have taken the test. I keep reminding my self that there is next time and its not the end of the world. Don't stress out about it. Whats done is done. Hopefully you passd.
Thanks to everyone who responded! I found out this morning that I PASSED!!!!! I have no idea how it happened or what the state board was thinking and I have no idea how 75 questions can measure competency, but it did and thank God! I wish everyone luck who is either taking it for the first time or is having to retake it... and congrats to those of you who just found out they passed!

To others who may read this, I second this comment. The waiting was worse than the exam.
And to the OP - CONGRATS!!! :)
