Or is anyone registered? I got the pre-class welcome letter and now I am freaking a little bit. I tried to look profs online, but did not find out much. I am wondering if I chose wisely....
Any insight would be welcome!

I am taking APHY 101 online out of Gary but I am taking it the 2nd 8 weeks...I am nervous as well especially since I am having to take it in a shortened term.
You will have to let me know how it goes!

Yes, the pre-class letters will always sound horrible and freak you out. . . but the class is definitely doable if you just spend the time necessary to do it. To be successful in online classes you have to be able to be disciplined about your studying, and hopefully are the type of learner who learns well with reading the material yourself. Some people are more auditory learners and need to hear a lecture to have the material really sink in and understand it; IMO it would be difficult to do an online class if one is an auditory learner. Anyway just wanted to say, try not to freak out too much about that letter--they make it sound a lot worse than it is IMO. Good luck!

I took A&P 101 and 102 online (both through Gary)....
Make sure you set aside more than enough time to read and study the material. The weekly lab quizzes can either come from that week's chapter (so make sure to read it before beginning a quiz) AND/OR from the lab. In other words, don't see the words "Lab Quiz" and assume the questions will come from the lab.
Another piece of advice: take the practice chapter quizzes on Course Compass, especially when preparing for the midterm and final exam. Trust me, it'll come in handy. :)
