Lots of memorizing that's why!! I took A&P 1 twice & left it as a C. But A&P 2 was easier for me got an A. My school had a lab video I didn't know about the first time around, that's what helped. I watched & watched it over & over. Don't get discouraged. Even with my C I still got into a private University Nursing program.
I did not take it twice, but a good percentage of my class was retaking the course because they had all earned Cs or Ds the previous semester, particularly in A&P I. I found A&P II much easier than the first A&P. Don't sweat it! I got a 58 on my first lab practical in A&P I and pulled a B+ in the class.
I took part of A&P twice. The first time around I took the full year. The second time through (about 15 years later) I took just the part that I needed. Needless to say that I did VERY well the 2nd time around. I actually didn't have to take it, but I did anyway just so that I could have a refresher in the subject before going to nursing school. I also found out that the info was well ingrained in me by then.
I took A&P 1 twice. I dropped it the first time because I had a D+ average and i knew i wasnt studying. I had made the classic freshmen mistake and registered for 5 classes. It also didn't help that i had the hardest teacher in the school.
So I took it again the next year. I was more focused on my studying and I had a better teacher. And I ended up getting an A-.
