U.S.A. Indiana

Where are all the Indiana members? This board has been moving so slow lately :o I don't know about you all, but I'm very bored waiting for school to start. I start the LPN program at Ivy Tech this fall, CANNOT wait. I love my two boys (ages 1 1/2 and 3 years), but I can only play and clean house, laundry, dishes so much. I've exhausted all means of entertainment for them, they're so spoiled. They're actually asking to go back to daycare. LOL :chuckle Ok, just thought I'd give a shout out to all my fellow hoosiers. I'm sure the board will hopefully pick up by next month. Later, Jen

Does anyone work Indy? I am a clinical instructor and work downtown and am attempting to fininsh my MSN.

I am a brand new RN, graduated in may, passed NCLEX in june. I work in Indy, live pretty much right on the Marion county/Shelby county line. Graduated with my BSN from IUSON at Indianapolis. Good luck to all the nursing students.

GRRR the Colts lost to Denver tonight. Peyton didn't play much, though.

Who else is ready for Fall to be here? I know I am. I want to go to the Covered bridge festival, I want to go to Nashville/Brown County. Have a great night all.

ICU RN alive and well in the Hoosier state!

Glad ot hear from all of you.

Does anyone know anything about Purdue University's accelerated BSN program? I graduated from Purdue in 2003 with a BS in food science, but want to go back to school and become a nurse. I've actually been accepted into Bellarmine University's accelerated program (Bellarmine is located in Louisville, KY), but since I already have a bachelor's from Purdue, I thought I might have a decent chance at getting into their program. I know it's competitive, as it seems to be everywhere, but I really enjoyed going to school at Purdue the first time, and it would also save me a lot of money, as Bellarmine is a private school ($$$$$$). Purdue didn't have the accelerated program while I was there, so I was curious if anyone has any feedback. Thanks!

Which campus? WL or Calumet?

I got a brochure on the Purdue Calumet accelerated program.

The West Lafayette campus. I'm in the process of applying, I was just curious if anyone has any additional info about it. Thanks!

hi there. i am still in the process of figuring if i can handle going to school or not, so still looking at the LPN and rN programs around here. looking at Ivytech(south bend) or southwestern michigan college. glad there are others out there.:)

Looks like most of the people who have posted here are nursing students. Good luck to you. I'm faculty at IU South Bend and know how much work you have ahead of you! May your year go smoothly...

Thank you! And I am starting pre-nursing at IUSB on January 9th! I am new to this site and just saw that you are faculty there!
