I just went to an interview for LVN program and was told I needed to bring in my High School transcripts; these will be taken into consideration when selecting students. I have been out of school for 15 years! And did not do well at all in High School. Looks like it's coming back to haunt me:(

The majority of places require them.

You'll probably have to take a NET test, and this is a big factor in who gets into an LVN program as well, so don't discredit yourself.

Yes, I had to provide mine as well. However, I think my program just wanted to see that I had it. I don't think it really played a role in my acceptance. Like the previous poster stated, your test scores will be probably be the indication on acceptance or not.

Good luck!

My school wanted proof of high school graduation. That could be a transcript or a copy of your diploma. (I really had to dig to find that darned diploma.) Silly that they wouldn't accept college transcripts.

I believe that proof of hs grad is a required before admission to a course . should not be a stumbling block if you graduated i don't believe that they are going to go by the 15 y/o grades as to whether you ae admitted or not..a lot of teens have grade problems when they are out chasing or being chased but we all grow up and realize that we have to do something with our lives

good luck with admission

I had to dig for mine but it was a requirement to get in

I think they need to prove you graduated or hold a GED, otherwise they made no comment on my less-than-shining high school transcript! :uhoh3:
