I prefer Regina or Saskatoon.I know someone from Saskatoon but no particular hospital yet..:) I just hope that I'll be eligible to take the exam. If they advice me to do SEC, I'll take the IELTS again, aim for all 7 scores and apply in Australia instead. :)

Doesn't Australia require a bridging course/SEC of some sort as well?

Yes they have. If I will incur expense for SEC in Canada, Id better choose Australia since I have relatives there. In Canada, I only know an acquaintance.:) Taking SEC in Canada then taking the CRNE, in my opinion, is more expensive than taking the bridging course in Australia. :)

Suggest you follow up with SRNA in a couple of weeks, since you only have 2 posts so far, you can pm me (I believe) but not receive any messages, so I would need a little bit more info. If you want to pm those to me, like where to you want to work, what kind of ER have you worked in, what where your duties, so I get an idea. That would be great.

I have been working in the middle east for quite some time now..tertiary and referring hospital..lots of trauma cases..

The last time I received an email from SRNA was few days ago .they asked me to send them a clear copy of my birth cert.and I did but till date no reply yet..

I just hope everything will go well..I'll wait till I can pm you .thanks again

regarding SRNA there are moving into their new offices now, nothing is going on there for at least another week I guess, and there are behind the applications, because suddenly they were overrun by IEN applications.

hi!

I am still waiting for my eligibility from SRNA. Last I heard from them was a request for justification from my College regarding the special program for nurses. It has been 10 months since I sent my application.

Has anyone received their eligibility lately?
