Anyone been in a monitoring program more than once?

Will the BON allow nurses to enter into a monitoring program more than once? In place of disciplinary action? How common is this?

I had "disciplinary action" from BON. Probation for a year, work under RN, no home health, traveling/agency, a "case manager ", had to complete nurse assistance program. Was under the eyes of both, BON and assistance program.

Ok thanks. I sure pray mine isn’t suspension. After 3 1/2 years working as a nurse and completing outpatient, it they did that would be crazy!

Well thats good that they didnt discipline you as yet. All these comments from everyone gives me hope! They really do take forever though!
