I had "disciplinary action" from BON. Probation for a year, work under RN, no home health, traveling/agency, a "case manager ", had to complete nurse assistance program. Was under the eyes of both, BON and assistance program.

I did what they told me to do and still am, yes, I got to keep my license .

I got put in assistance program again and disciplinary action from BON. Both of the above can basically do anything they want to you...they have your license in their hands. Good luck!

I am in my states nurse assistance program, one year left, not one noncompliant. Part of my "recovery program" states I need to ask if I can leave the country. I asked the BON if I could go on vacation, out of the country. They will not approve my request to leave the country. I was shocked! I have asked for an explanation, no reply yet. How can they do that? I am going on vacation, not working as a nurse.
