Hi, I am new to this forum and I am wondering if anyone has graduated from mcc in lowell the 2 year rn program. Also if anyone is in the middle of the program or applying for it. I am applying for 2010 evening program. I completed my prereqs already. Didn't know if anyone had any thoughts bout it. Also what is a good bsn program to follow through with. Please reply with any thoughts or comments. Thanks. Erin

The sweatshirts are available as a fundraiser by the Student Nurses Club. They do it once or twice a year. A rep will come around to your class when they are placing another order.

Thank u bostontsn..

Were you a student at MCC? Do you happen to know the price?

Thx, Erin

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site, I see you all are MCC nursing students or wait listed for the program. I have been wait listed since spring 2010, just wondering how long everyone had to wait before they actually got accepted? I'm hoping Ill be accepted for spring 2012, hopefully not getting my hopes up.

Hi KristaC, im Erin and i was on the waitlist since fall 2009. I just got accepted for Fall 2011 evening program. I was accepted a few weeks ago actually.

Have u taken the teas yet? I know this month the letters go out for spring 2012. Are u done with your prereqs?

Hey Erin thanks That is helpful. Yeah i have already taken the teas and all my classes besides statistics and the core nursing classes. What about you did already finish all ur classes besides the nursing ones? Good luck next semester!

Hi, yes my prereqs are done except I have to retake AP2 because my credits are to old. I have to take it along with my nursing class so i will be extremely busy in the fall. Did u apply for the day or evening program?

I hope you get your letter soon...

Hi Krista- Welcome!

My application was complete in September of 2009 and I was accepted in Jan 2011 for the Fall Day program of 2011. I hope that gives you a good time frame. Good luck, the time really does fly by, I took stats while waiting to hear too and it was a bummer because I heard some people in my class ( and Erin was with me too) got acceptance packets and we didn't. BUT... we both were on the waiting list and both of us got in! So don't give up , you never know until the last minute.

Hey- has anyone checked out the new email system at MCC? I was checking to see if they had listed the books yet (NOPE!) and the new microsoft system is up and running. Its pretty cool, you can actually email a classmate by name! You can look up the professors more quicky than the old way of email, it's about time they got into this century with that stuff...

Sounds cool Lyn... I will have to check it out. I wish they would just put the list out there so we can finally buy them. i want the syllabus to se we can start reading ahead... Cant wait to get the ball rolling!

I will just say..AGREE! :-)

Hi there - does anyone know how strict the college is on expiring sciences? I took microbiology in Spring 2007 and am nervous it will expire if I don't get in for January day program. If I were pushed to the fall, will I have to retake this course?

Are letters coming soon? Is it early July?

Thanks!!

Hi, I know the sciences are good for five years then you have to take it over.

The letters for spring 2012 should go out sometime in June.

Goodluck!

Erin
