Are you asking if a nurse licensed in Australia is eligible for licensure in Ontario? If the nurse has the needed clinical & theory in all areas (Canadian nurses are generalist trained) they need to apply to NNAS and pay the fees for a credentials assessment as an IEN. Once the assessment is complete (up to 24 months) the nurse can than apply to CNO for a nursing license as an IEN to see if their credentials meet CNO standards & are subsequently eligible to take the NCLEX and jurisprudence exams. But the license is of no use without citizenship, residency or a valid work visa. Since you are in the Philippines you will likely need to demonstrate English or French language proficiency.
There is no reciprocal agreement like the trans-Tasmanian agreement between AUS & NZ

If I understand what you are asking then no there is no reciprocity as each country has their own nursing requirements and you have to apply individually to the CNO once NNAS is complete and meet requirements and at some stage sit and pass NCLEX

Hi All,
Please help me, I received my NNAS report today and its say "somewhat comparable" as i want to apply for LPN in CNO Ontario. its seems like i am not eligible and go to school right ?
Please advise,if someone had same experience?
Please help,
Thks,

You may need additional clinical competency assessments. You may need additional classes. You likely can't just take the CRPNE. You need to apply to CNO and see what they say

@grace, Did you apply to CNO after receiving your NNAS report? After you apply to CNO, you wait for further direction. Do you have work experience? If so and you apply for RN you, CNO may require to undergo OSCE, if you apply for RPN, CNO may require you to complete a CAS. Either way, CNO will require you to do a Jurisprudence exam.
