I'm looking to take the TEAS V exam by January of next year. I would have to pay $100 to Pearson VUE because there are no testing centers around here (Southern California..). Anyone know how soon it takes to set up an exam date?
Thanks!

It's a really quick process. I was told by my nursing school on Monday of last week that I needed to take the TEAS V before the end of the month (I had planned on taking it in January). I went to the ATI website right away, paid for the exam, and scheduled it. I'm taking the exam next Wednesday.
I'm also in So Cal, and there are plenty of testing centers. You're probably making the same mistake I made (which I had to call someone to help me clear up). You need to go to the ATI store (Storefront Home
) and purchase the Pearson VUE TEAS V (click on the "register" button)... you'll pay the $100, and then it will give you the option to search for testing centers in your area. I'm in Orange County, and there were about 10 centers pretty close to my home.

Didn't use pearson, but I found out that there were only two test dates I could take before my winter vacation. The first one was in 15 hours and the second a week later during my finals. I signed up for the one that was 15 hours later and finally got around to cracking open my McGraw hill study guide.
I am sure you can get more dates than I did though as my college only occasionally holds test dates.
Thanks you guys!!
