:heartbeatdoes anyone know any nursing place that can hook me up in getting my lpn license. because i completed the whole lpn program; at the end of the program i took the exit final, but i did not pass it. Now i don't know where to turn to get my license without taking the entire lpn program again.

If you took the final and didnt pass, then you technically didnt complete the program. Have you contacted your old school to see if they can let you repeat the last semester so you dont have to take the whole thing?
Hopefully someone else here can help you more..:)

you need to see if you can take your last semester over again, and retake that exit exam..... or else you will have to start over. to take your boards the school has to submit paperwork to the board of nursing so they can approve you to take boards. will the school let you retake the exit exam without repeating the semester?
i wish you luck and hope you can retake your exit exam. contact your school so you can become a LPN. keep us posted

As others have said, you did not complete all of the requirements of the program by not passing the exit exam (which seems to be a requirement of that particular facility). I would inquire if you have another chance in taking just the exit exam, or what happens, now. It is true, they have to send paperwork to your BON stating that you passed ALL proficiencies in place in order to be eligible for NCLEX-PN. Many times, those questions are styled similar to NCLEX, so, this is showing that you are able to critically think in order to answer those sorts of questions. If they allow you to, I would get a comprehensive study guide for NCLEX-PN and/or study material that are sometimes ordered by the same company that is giving that exit exam and study really, really hard. Best of luck!

There is no hooking up.
You either met your school's requirements for graduation, or you didn't.
If you didn't, you are most likely ineligible to take NCLEX-PN right now.
Nursing licenses don't come from a box of CrackerJack, and they don't come from getting hooked up with a guy that someone knows ...
Concentrate on doing what is required to graduate.
thank you very much for your responses to my inquiry. I appreciate it very much. i will keep you posted.
