Anyone know how many HESI Exit exam versions there are??

Can anyone tell me how many RN HESI exit exam versions there are? I know for sure that there are 4, but I've heard a small percentage say that there is versions 5,6,7. I know my friends that graduated from another schol only had versions 1-4. I know my school has versions 1-4 as well, but I don't know if they have more than that. I also know that they have retest 1-3 and maybe 4, but I'm not sure.

I thought v3 was the hardest, and v4 was the easiest. They are supposed to be weighted equally, but they are not. there were only 9 people who passed the v3 from our class.[/

There are 7 versions of the Hesi test. Each version has 3 sub-versions within. For example V-1a, V-1b, V-1c, V-2a, V-2b, V-2c, etc.........:banghead:

I just took the Hesi LPN exit for the second time and failed.... I don't understand how a school and base one signal test on whether their students are LPN or not... I am a B student... I am just really ****** I just failed this thing about 45 mintutes ago.... any advice greatly appreciated... :crying2:

Does anyone know of a school that doesn't have hesi as an exit exam rn or lpn courses. I want to go to a school that doesn't require hesi. Also does anyone know anything about a lawsuit in chicago against hesi

I realize I'm a little late to join this convo, but I didn't even know there was such thing as an exit exam until after I graduated from nursing school and passed the nclex. I went to Boston College and did my BSN as my undergraduate degree. We did not have any sort of exit exam. The only thing we had was what I'm assuming was a HESI-style practice exam that we took 4 months before graduation and was only used as an indicator of if our advisor would recommend we take a review course before the nclex. Hmm..

I took the hesi for the 4th time, and I made a 998.. I studied Kaplan for test taking skills, and did saunders and nclex 3500 review questions! Take your time and relax.. it can be done ;)

i was told there were 4 versions. i just took the HESI last week and sadly i didnt pass but score pretty close which gives me hope when i take it again next month. i took version 1 if any one interested in so me tips let me know. maybe i can help. :)

MsShun....what from the Kaplan book did you study? Did the case studies really help? What version of the HESI did you take? Any hints for V3? email me or message me if you can!

I took HESI version 2 and scored 847. I am really scared becuase I have to re-take it. I have heard that we are allowed to take it only 3 times and if we don't, all the years of school will go to the trash??? Does any one know the alternatives to re-take HESI after failinf thrice? I know I am over reacting, but just wanted to know worst case scenario. Can also anybody tell me any CD or book that would help me to pass HESI/? something like test taking strategies....Thanks a lot guys....I will really appreciate any coment. God Bless!!

Was that the first time that your bff took the exam? I am just wondering because I thought that V1/V2 was usually given as the first take.
