Anyone Just Complete Rockland Community College's Spring Nursing 111 Class?

Published

Hi,

I just completed the Nursing 111 class at RCC and wanted to see if anyone else out there was in it.... And if so, what their opinion was of it.

i did nurs 110 this summer. i am currently doing 103,106 206 chem 105 and a and p 1. pls do all your a and p classes at the same school or you will have to do it all over like i did. good luck

Good, now you are a permanent fixture of the RCC nursing program. I completed the entire program this past May and let me tell you it was an experience. I poured all of my blood, sweat , and tears into it. Nursing 111 was easy, but it gets harder.... If you truly want this them you must focus and study hard. I truly liked the program especially the professors, at least the one's I had. I also liked the flexibility of their program. They do an excellent job preparing their students for the NCLEX, I took it two weeks ago and passed with 95 questions first shot, what a relief.... Remember stay focused, study hard, and feel free to reach out if you need help...... Lisa RN....:heartbeat

I am so proud of you!!! I Love the program too... It's challenging, but God knows they really work with the students..I'm so glad I came to RCC!!

Good, now hang in there. I know you must feel like you are in a dark tunnel, but one day soon you will start to see the light. Don't forget to reach out for help if you need it. I don't consider myself to be a know it all, but feel free to ask me questions if you like and I will answer to the best of my knowledge...

Hey guys. I'm just starting nursing 111@RCC and i was wondering how much the books are? .. havent bought them yet (i'm broke), but will in the next coming weeks, i just don't know what i'm in for as far as prices.

*thanks.

The books are expensive but you will be using them for 113 also and you will use your clinical books for the complete program I would purchase the text book first and your clinical books. You can wait on the other books until later in the semester. I purchased a lot of mine thru barnes and noble or amazon.

On the RCC website under academics I believe is the link to the book store which will give you specific info by class. Some of the books are bundled, I then went to the publisher website to find out the specific ISBN # for that particular bundle so I could order it online.

Also for your information if you go to the library and they have the syllabus for all nursing classes, what ever you do, do not fall behind in your reading, it is almost impossible to catch up and do not wait for the night before to study for the tests.

Hope this helps. Good luck, I will be taking 231 & 232 this fall.
