A long-long time ago,...i went there!! i lived in Dade city at the time. i later attended Saint Leo for a year,..but relocated to NC...sadly tho..i did not finish my degree at either place.........

what classes are you taking for fall 2006?

I'm retaking A&P and psych to bring up my GPA. I haven't taken the NET test yet. I already have a bachelor's degree

if you're finished with pre-req's...have you already been accepted into the program? what was your GPA? (only if you don't mind sharing) My GPA is 2.8 overall, but they go off of your pre-req GPA....so 3.2

if you are currently in the nursing program...how is it so far? Not yet, dying to start....can hardly wait any longer.

you sound like me!! my overall GPA is 2.8 right now, but it will probably be a 3.0 after this summer semester is over. i messed up quite a bit when i started school about 3 years ago...i WAS going for my AA. my pre-req GPA is 3.5-3.9 depending on whether i get A's or B's in A&P and lab this summer.

who are your teachers for A&P and psych? i've taken both...A&P is tough...make sure you invest in A LOT of flash cards!! it has been the most difficult summer course i've ever had because they pack a lot of info in only 2 months!! i'm taking A&P II and maybe microbiology for the fall. how many pre-req's do you have left to take? i heard the NET is hard...i'm a little scared to take it. have you studied for it at all?? do you know which area of nursing you are working toward?

I attend PHCC now and am submitting my application next week for Nursing/Spring. I have a 3.76 GPA in my prereqs, but totally did poorly on the net and you can only take that once a year. I have a 76 overall, 89 Math, but ran out of time on the Reading, 61. I have no idea if I will get in. My GPA is okay, but I ran out of time on the Peading portion. I was so confident because I really excell in reading and English. I was totally shocked when the test clicked off and I still had 8 questions left. Thank goodness the ones I answered were all right.

I am taking A&P II in the fall, North campus. I usually go to East campus, closer to home.

I have asked Ms. Medley what were the lower combo's of those accepted last year and she just said every class was different.

I know this doesn't help.

Are you applying for this Spring? Fall classes are closed for several years due to overcrowding and committments to those under the old acceptance process.

Actually, I am nervous about that NET test too, and I am a sharp cookie. I tried a test the other night, but then again I was distracted by that new Supernova show.....none the less, I need to brush up on my math, my reading and vocab rocked though. Yes, I have the infamous business degree (B.S.). I'm also going to take the NET test and apply to PHCC and also South University...I have all my pre-reqs done. I'm familiar with A&P and psych and sociology.....I'm just retaking them for GPA improvement. However, South University advised me that they will take my classes as is, and want to meet with me tomorrow about a program that is beginning October 1st. So I'm just putting ALLLL my eggs in lots of baskets.
