    ANYONE go to PHCC??

you already have a bachelor's degree? in what? you sound like me!! my overall GPA is 2.8 right now, but it will probably be a 3.0 after this summer semester is over. i messed up quite a bit when i started school about 3 years ago...i WAS going for my AA. my pre-req GPA is 3.5-3.9 depending on whether i get A's or B's in A&P and lab this summer. who are your teachers for A&P and psych? i've taken both...A&P is tough...make sure you invest in A LOT of flash cards!! it has been the most difficult summer course i've ever had because they pack a lot of info in only 2 months!! i'm taking A&P II and maybe microbiology for the fall. how many pre-req's do you have left to take? i heard the NET is hard...i'm a little scared to take it. have you studied for it at all?? do you know which area of nursing you are working toward?
  2. i would love to get into plastic surgical nursing, so i have been searching and reading through this forum looking for information on how to get started. i have already gotten some great advice from some very nice people! :) but...i have another question. it seems that most people are saying that in order to become a plastic surgical nurse, i will need or experience. is there anything i can do before i graduate nursing school that will get me familiar with the or, or do i have to wait until i graduate and become an or intern? i don't know much about any of this yet, so if you have any information for me...please share!!! thank you!

    most fascinating nursing job

"Your clinicals will help to determine which area you will enjoy! I have 8 weeks left and I still am not sure. However, I am looking in Telemetry since I am working as a CNA on a telemetry unit and I am looking in Informatics since I have 25 yrs in IT w/ my masters." what is telemetry and informatics?

    most fascinating nursing job

i'm starting nursing school in january (RN), and i'm not sure which area of nursing i would like to go into. i'm trying to find a job that i will enjoy going to (almost) everyday!! =) 1. what do you think is the most fascinating/fun area of nursing? 2. how much education, what degree? 3. how much experience? 4. salary? (only if you wish to share) thank you!!
  7. hi...i am new here!! i will be applying for nursing school (rn) for january 2007. i have been a permanent makeup artist for 2 1/2 years now (www.theleopardlily.com). while doing this job, i have become extremely interested in and fascinated with the art cosmetic surgery. does anyone work for a plastic surgeon? if so, how much education was required (how many years, which degree?), and what does your job entail? i would love to assist surgeries if possible...or work in an outpatient center. i am also great with computers and have excellent customer service skills. i'm just clueless as to what kind of jobs are available for nurses in this field. is the pay good? (for anyone who would like to share this info...i would greatly appreciate it!!) and, what days/hours do you work? thanks in advance to everyone who replies!! :spin:
