Anyone get their degree from Akron Institute?

Hi, just wondering what their program is like and how you liked it. I plan on taking their next entrance exam and applying for their Sept. 09 class.

I will VERY likely apply..I withdrew from the BSN program at Akron U when I was pregnant with my son (our last baby).. and now it is time for Mama.. He will be going to school all day in the fall...

If I GET accepted I will go..

I am in the same exact boat as you melissa. i withdrew from ursuline when i got pregnant with my son . AI is looking pretty good right about now!

I went today and had my transcripts sent from Akron U...now I need to go and have my high school transcripts sent...

And refresh my algebra and science for that teas test...I wonder what their passing grade is...

And to the AI grass...how soon after the application deadline do we find out if we are in..

I dont remember how long it took, but they do have an interview process first. I dont think it took too long after that. (That is of course, they havent changed it)

EJacobs if you see this before you go in..will you ask Jim what version of the TEAS they give and if he will tell you what the passing percentage is??

I wonder also if they still do an interview..

You probably know this by now, but I talked to the DON the other day and she said they no longer do interviews.
