Anyone fr CA that took nclex rn and passed after 10 days?

My classmate waited for almost 8 days before she got the results. She passed, the first time!!!

hi suzanne! it's been more than 10 days and I still don't have the result.I'm planning to try your PLAN.bought the book already(4th ed).Will start the 1st tip after I receive the mail(maybe this week ).

I'm curious to this question as well. Should i be tripping considering i took it on the Feb 4th.

I took my on the 4th too and still haven't seen my result... worryyyy... but I think we shouldn't be... my friend said they have budget cut so it may take longer. I wonder if you can take the test without school sending in the transcripts first??? my friend said they have to otherwise we won't be able to sit for board or got the IP, but I disagreed.

Average wait time is a full ten days, not two or three. If you do not hear anything in 2 weeks, then contact them to make sure that there is nothing missing from your file. Never assume that you did not pass. And it can take up to a month to see your name posted.

I personally would have not even bought the book as well.

Remember that the BRN is now closed on the first and third Friday of each month.

much has been posted concerning this very same thing.

ca does permit one to test before they have received their transcrits provided that there name is on a list submitted by the school to the brn. when one gets the att, or is made eligible to register for the exam, it means that you have met the requirements or licensure there pending your exam results.

and this is why one can get the ip, for the very same reasons.

but they will not issue a license without the transcripts being received by them and in your file. this is the reason that it can take a month before a name will be posted and we have even seen it go over the month a couple of times.

they did not cut staff, they are cutting two work days per month.

It took me 5 days after Feb 4th to find out. I passed!!

Please do not do a thing, including purchasing of the book until you have your results.

Notice that I stated that the average time was ten days. It means that it can take longer as well. And it can take up to a month. Depends if your file is complete. That is why we tell people to wait for two weeks and then if they have not heard anything to contact the BRN and see what is missing.

One of my major requirements is that one waits at least one week after receiving their results before starting the first tip. And I am very strict on this.

Again, please do not do a thing until you have your results.

Congratulations on your passing of the exam.

This is exactly why we tell everyone to wait and never to assume anything.

I passed after 3 weeks exactly. It was because my file wasn't complete because of transcripts. I called the CA-BRN yesterday to confirm that my file was complete (It was completed yesterday morning). Found out this morning I passed. Suzanne's right...just wait and don't assume.

the wait is over.got my result today after 14 days.i failed....the letter was dated 2 days after i took my exam ( jan 29 ).took it jan 27.they mailed it yesterday.guess my file was complete.even when i am expecting it i felt so sad.will do suzanne's plan(got the book already).hope it will work bc i'm not doing good with the way i study ( obviously!)i need a program/plan that would guide me.thank you silverdragon and suzanne..this site helped me get over with my ordeal esp on the days after i took my exam and waiting for my result.this site really help me during those days.

ALF06 hang in there. This is only a little bump on the road, you have multiple opportunities to show that you really are destined to be a nurse. Just keep your head up high and no doubt that you will soon become a nurse. Take care!
