Just taking a poll. I'm wondering if any/how many took NCLEX RN right out of school and passed pretty much w/out any studying or with very little review? I read one poster that that happened too, and am wondering how many others. I have 10 days to take mine and just now will begin studying. Too burnt out on studying after school, needed time off, then lost motivatioin. Now crunch, Im motivated! Yet somehow I wonder does it really help or is it just that you know the stuff deep down to begin with. Not sure! From what I understand folks end up guessing at the majority anyway!
So curious about how long folks study in general and passed.
If you don't know it now, super cramming ain't gonna give it to you. I worked as a graduate nurse for one month (1991) then took it and passed with no additional study time;. Just couldn't make myself do it. Anxiety is probably you worst enemy when it comes to that test. Just put your brain to work and you will do fine.

I agree! I think if you went to a school that taught you right (i.e they have a pass rate of about 98/99 percent average on the NCLEX ) the you should do just fine! (Glad I went for it!)
Well, I passed. Now I just need to get a job.
Congrats!!! :mortarboard::caduceus: The job's the easy part compared to that! lol. I had a job before the test..an offer I mean, contingent on passing the test...talk about extra stress! And now I'm relocating so..more stress ha ha... but hey, you did it!

I did. I could not afford the review course so I just reviewed my study guides.
