A tough time finding LPN positions in Wisconsin (Milwaukee area). I am having such a hard time finding any available ones, the only ones that I am finding are way out by Madison - making me think I may either have to drive like 2 hours each way each day or relocate there......I just got turned down by a facility that I was sure I was gonna get the job.

I have no clue what other facilites are there - maybe some could list some ideas for me so I can apply. I have 2 years experience and blah - nothing.:angryfire

Could you work as a medical assistant?

If you select "clinical/professional/technical" on the top and "CSM Clinics" on the bottom there are several positions. I hope you find something!

Specializes in physician office, ortho/neuro.

annie2005,

Are you looking for nursing home or clinic work. If you are looking for clinic work, try applying for positions that ask for a medical assistant. Many times clinics use LPNs and Medical assistants in the same role. Have you tried Aurora healthcare. They hire LPN's in the clinic.

Specializes in Med/Surg.

Annie:

I've been an LPN since 2006, also, and currently work at Waukesha Memorial(I've actually been there for 4 years).

Specializes in Geriatrics.

If you really can relocate, try northern WI. Way up north. Jobs are plentiful, pay is great!!!
