Sigh...I feel like I've been waiting forever on word, even though it's really not been all that LONG...I'm on wait week 4.5 for University of Cincinnati, and week number 3 for Simmons College. Both are for FNP programs...I was denied from Georgetown after 2.5 wks of waiting...sigh...so who else is waiting, no matter what school you applied to?

yes there was a little tab that said pay online but nothing for me to click, and then when i went to "applicaltion summary" about 1/3 of the way down on the left said "Decision" and next to that said "please call admissions office".[/quote']I'm applying for Jan 2014 p/t. I figured I could always change to f/t once I see the demand on my current schedule- working about 50 hours peds home health, mom of 2, single.
I felt good when the financial aid office requested the SIF for me to complete, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. Applied to GU lasted year with high hopes only to get turned down 3 weeks after applying.
That's pretty awesome! When did they request the SIF form for you to complete? I'm thinking that's a HUGE good sign! On Monday will be 3wks for me...shew I hate all this waiting, it's got me all turned into knots! I'm noticing a lot of people who were turned down from GU for very minor things have been accepted to Simmons with conditions, such as taking a self paced Stats course, and some CEUs for assessment courses, and/or a biology in nursing course the term before you start. That's pretty awesome in my book if they work with you to make you successful, says a lot about the school in my opinion! =) Good luck and let us know when you find out!

But until I get that acceptance email, I'm just speculating. I have been reading your threads. You are a very strong candidate. I hope our paths cross in class (fingers crossed).
Me too, that would be nice...no word back for me yet...other than on friday I emailed my adviser for an update and he said it had gone through the first part of the review process and was on the final part...not sure what that means exactly but hoping by next week maybe i might hear yea or nay...sigh...

Did you apply for Jan 2014 start MsDiva? I got an email saying that while I was waiting to update my FAFSA with school code, and to apply for any scholarships (or rather get apps ready) and then to have the $650 deposit ready as I can't enroll or schedule until paid. Hopefully that's a good sign...huge problem though, I already DID all the FAFSA stuff first, so nothing to do now BUT wait! LOL...
