Anyone else applying to UAB NP program for Summer 2015?

I recently submitted my application to UAB FNP program starting May 2015. Just wondering if anyone else has applied as well?? If so, from which state do you live? I am from NE Florida. I hope to meet/network with other prospective students for this program. Though I'm excited it's an online program, I think I will miss the peer to peer banter! Fingers crossed on acceptance!

I finally got into my Blazernet; I didn't see anything. But can anyone clarify what will we see if we are excepted?

I didn't think I would obsess so much once I applied but I check the mail daily since last week, like I meet the mail lady at the box. And I check here whenever I am awake no mater the time.

From previous threads I believe you will have a hold on your account and something listed about your concentration in the transcripts area. Not 100% sure, but I believe that's what ppl posted that got in in the past.... Keep us posted! And congrats! (Hopefully) ???

Is it ok to register a blazernet ID? It says I am in the system.

Now I'm confused. I created a blazernet id when I applied and the system recognizes that I have an id. I still can't log into blazer anything. I'm getting the same "error" message listed in previous posts. What do you mean "register a blazernet id"? Am I missing a step here??

Also, the way I created an BI was separate from the application process. I am curious how they link the two???

Hi all. I applied for UAB Spring as well. I Currently live North,Ga. The waiting is so nerve reckoning. :nailbiting: Good luck to everyone. I did a Blazernet login back when I first applied. I will check the status and see if it works. I am so glad I found this thread because I have been on her for weeks read and lurking after application submission.

Also I am looking at USA since it's close to my family but praying for UAB due to their program statuses.

I haves completed my application on NURSINGCAS as well just have to submit.

Hello Everyone!

I applied to UAB for the summer for their PMHNP program. I previously applied about two years ago to their informatics program and did not get in. Since then I have raised my GPA for my last 60 hours of undergraduate work in hopes of being admitted this time around. I also submitted a better essay and have grown an interest in psychiatric nursing. I graduated from UAB so I am able to log into blazernet but I see no changes as of yet. My plan is to work full time at UAB and get accepted into their program so they will pay for my full tuition. I have an interview Wednesday. I pretty confident about the interview not so much being admitted. If I do not get into their graduate program I will not accept their job. I am going to apply to USA and try to get the VA Hospital (my current job) to pay for it. Anyways...good luck to everyone!

I nominate someone to call or email their specialty track coordinator or the MSN program manager OR the office of student affairs on tomorrow and find out the progress of acceptance/denial letters. I've already exhausted mine....I contacted (and posted the reply on here) my specialty track coordinator and the office of student affairs back in November...

On another note, tomorrow makes the 6 week mark since the deadline passed.....

JGraceRN I'm in Blazernet as well. I did have a change on my financial aid stating estimated cost for a specified amount. Are you seeing this as well? It may not be anything because I did submit a request to take Pharm next semester. Also Myfinancial aid looks totally different so it could have gone along with the updates that happened over the weekend. Other than that nothing here. Good luck on your interview. I just accepted a position there and orientation is Jan. 12.
