I recently submitted my application to UAB FNP program starting May 2015. Just wondering if anyone else has applied as well?? If so, from which state do you live? I am from NE Florida. I hope to meet/network with other prospective students for this program. Though I'm excited it's an online program, I think I will miss the peer to peer banter! Fingers crossed on acceptance!

Just submitted mine last night for Adult-Gerontology with subspecialty in Occupational Health. I am in Central Florida. Good luck!

I applied for the Pediatric Primary Nurse Practitioner program for Summer 2015. Are y'all applying anywhere else? I am located in central Alabama.

Hi! Just submitted my application for May 2015 for Dual Acute Care/Primary Care PNP program. Fingers crossed as this is my second time applying. Hopefully a little more experience under my belt helps out.

eml2142 Did they give you any feedback as to why you were not accepted last time? How many years of peds experience? I am so nervous, I have never applied anywhere before.

I submitted my application to the Psych NP program on October 22, 2014. I'm not sure where I stand. I have a Masters degree from the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa. While I have over 10 years experience in healthcare (at a psychiatric facility), I have only been a nurse for a short while. My admission essay and references are solid. Anyone know when decisions will be made and how we will be notified?

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I recently applied to the Adult-Gero Acute Care NP with RNFA. I am located in Atlanta, GA. It states on the website that it only takes 30 days for decisions to be made. However, I don't wanna get my hopes up that I'll hear back before Thanksgiving. I think before Christmas would probably be more realistic.

Specializes in critical care.

I applied to the Adult-Gero Care NP. I'm located in Birmingham, Al. I as well applied at Troy University.

I recently received an email that students will be required to have a statistics course completed prior to entering the Master's program. There is a link to determine if the course you have taken will count. It also stated "All MSN students will be required to attend an assigned New Student Orientation which will be held February 5-6 OR March 12-13 (admitted applicants will be provided their exact Orientation dates in the offer letter according to MSN Track).* Please be aware that we are working diligently to process all applications in a timely manner as we have a very high volume!* We look forward to communicating with you regarding your admission status in late December 2014."

Specializes in Long Term Care, ER, and Education.

My statistics class was not listed but I just took the class 2 months ago. I emailed the lady in the email my course syllabus. Hopefully they accept it! My chances of getting in are rare. I applied to the FNP track. So nervous!

I may apply to USA for Fall 2014 and a local University in Jacksonville, Fl. Good luck!
