1. California does not participate in Quick Results.
2. Average time to wait to see your name posted is ten days.
3. Fastest is three days, but you tested on a Thursday and then there was a weekend thrown in.
4. There are those that took the exam the earlier part of last week and they have received their results, you will have to wait. Files are reviewed by a human. And depends on many things.
Just sit tight, there is not one thing that you can do until the BRN completes your file.
i have heard frequently that rumor has it, that if they have all your transcripts and you're just waiting for your results, presuming all other factors are okay.. it's not a good sign if you don't see anything on the website within those first 10 days the big packet to reapply arrives around 3 weeks after your exam date
i can vouch for the second part
i learned the hard way because my classmate who took it a day after me had transcript problems.. it took her about a week to solve it, and as soon as she did, they told her she passed and her RN# would be online the next day. when she boasted that to me, i knew that since i did not have any transcript problems, that this was not a good sign that i didn't hear anything and the BRN was telling me they couldnt tell me over the phone. i kept hope because I have heard some people say they also were told they couldnt be told over the phone but passed.
so i was sad during that time.. and when the package arrived two weeks later, i was a bit stronger since i was prepared. but again, still cried.
yes... i'm still waiting for my results why is it that :angryfire it is 4 weeks long. huhuhuuhuhuhuhu. I'm running out of patience.
If you do not have a SSN#, then you will not see your name posted on the CA BRN website and will have to wait for the letter to arrive in the mail.
They do not even mail the letters out until after two weeks or so, and if in the US with a US mailing address, then the wait is about 2 1/2 weeks, otherwise for PI, it is four weeks on average.

Not entirely correct at all. If the nurse is foreign and without a SSN#, it will be one month for the results to reach them by mail.
Results are never give over the phone, because how do they know that it is really you?
Oh I didn't know you were in Pinas. I am not familiar with the process for that and just shared my personal experience where quite a number of my classmates found out over the phone that they passed (CA BRN)... I was also told by some staff that they're not supposed to do that... but I am sure that some were told that they passed.. but will not receive their RN# until their transcripts were cleared, etc.
Hopefully I'll get to visit P.I. soon :) I used to go every 4 years to do a medical mission. Then I started nursing school! LOL
