Just wondering if anyone has taken this 12month program? Seems like a decent alternative to Mt. St. Mary's and CSUN as this is right here in Orange County.
Commetns appreciated.
Ct22 & meggiemarie,
15 applicants are being put in the waitlist. There is no precise answer regarding what is the chance for status change from "waitlist applicant" to "acceptance students". Acceptance students have until next week to make their decisions before admission offer their seats to waitlist applicants.
Hi everyone!
I am planning on applying to Concordia for Fall 2011. I was wondering if you guys who got in would say what your undergraduate GPA was and your pre-req GPA... and whether or not you have any pre-reqs in progress? I have a 3.3 undergraduate GPA 3.8 in my pre-reqs I have completed all of the pre-reqs... just wondering what my chances are?
Thanks in advance,
Future RN!
If we made the waitlist and dont get in to the program and we reapply do we have to redo a background check and letters of recommend and do the interview process again??? And what is the likelihood of applying a secod time.... are the chances higher for getting into the next cohort.
Ashdash,
To re-apply, you will need to submit a new online application. Admission can re-use some of your documents (ie. transcripts, etc). Most of the times, it is optional for you to update your letters of recommendations. E-mail counselor to discuss your files' requirements for re-applying.
Yes, interview process is a mandatory process of admission if you are invited. There is no guarantee that those who are in the waitlist this cohort will be automatically accepted into the next cohort. All will be depend upon the applicants' pool of the next cohort.
Malefocker,
I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting in, however it all depends on how competitive your applicant pool is. Also, Concordia looks at the whole package. Letters of rec, personal statement, interview, healthcare experience, in addition to grades.
I was accepted for Spring 2011, and did not have any pre-reqs in progress. They say your a more competitive applicant if all of your pre-reqs have been completed, so it's good that you have completed Concordia's pre-reqs. Good luck!
Hi LIlJESS,
