I have been accepted to USF as pre-nursing and am waiting for orientation so i sign up for pathophys over the summer. Anyone else planning on applying for fall 2010?
I got on OASIS...I guess mine hasn't been updated yet because it still shows me admitted (as of 4/20) and does not say anything about mailed notifications. Nothing on SOAR yet either...I am hoping that they meant mail notifications and not email. :II thought I read somewhere that our status would change on SOAR as well and that would generate an email...?Anyone receive word yet on acceptance here?
I havn't seen anything on OASIS. I've been checking SOAR and the last message I've recieved was the message saying that I am now an eligible applicant, and that was on 5/24. I don't think we'll hear anything until around July 16, and that is so far away, the wait is kind of killing me! lol
July 16th! I hope not; I am military and I live overseas...that will give me less than 2 weeks to get packed, get my car and house shipped, and outprocessed! :I That is NOT a lot of time! I read on the USF site under the asked (resolved) questions database that it is usually 2 weeks after the deadline that we should find out (HOPING for that). Like you, I have been checking OASIS and SOAR (twice) daily and my last message says my status is Committee and I have met all prerequisites to apply as of 4/20. Glad I am not alone on the status update! :) I wish us all luck!
Congrats to you both! I am going to have to call the school today to see what that means. :I
If you don't want to answer you don't have to, but what were your GPAs? I am super scared this means I am on the standby list. This happened at the last school I applied to and then I didn't get in. Since this is already paid for for me, that will really suck!

That makes sense that the GPA cutoff would be higher; I was thinking that they do not admit as many students in the summer as they do the fall as well. Whatever the cutoff is, hopefully a 3.7 is good enough.
I guess we will know in 2-4 weeks....
And good luck to you as well! :)
